The Shreveport Bar Association (SBA) is a thriving, dynamic, professional organization that welcomes attorneys in all areas of the Law. We are dedicated to serving our members, and the community at large. Currently the SBA has over 600 members.

The SBA provides educational, networking, social, and community programs and events that are beneficial to all attorneys in our region. It is also a forum for meeting other attorneys in other practice areas. A membership in our Bar is something you can be proud of, and comes at an affordable cost. From social events to CLE classes and community volunteer opportunities, your membership will open doors. You will find it a rewarding experience, and we look forward to serving you.

Our Lawyer Referral Service is provided as a community service to assist the public in finding an attorney.  A referral through this site will enable a low-cost initial consultation with an attorney (not discount or free legal assistance).

The SBA offers extensive opportunities for high quality Seminars in Shreveport/Bossier City. You may also receive required credits via our Online CLE courses.  Interesting and Relevant topics for professional growth and approved CLE credit.

The Shreveport Bar Foundation provides charitable and educational services to the local community on behalf of the Shreveport Bar Association.  Past projects have included funding for Sheriff’s Safety Town, LSUHSC, Habitat for Humanity and Volunteers for Youth Justice.

Organizations who would like to be considered for funding may submit a grant application for consideration.
