Lawyer Referral Service
The Shreveport Lawyer Referral Service offers this community service to aid the public in obtaining legal services. The lawyer referral service provides an initial consultation for a fee of $25.00. This fee must be paid by money order only and made payable to the "Shreveport Lawyer Referal Service" upon your first visit to the attorney's office.

This service provides an initial consultation to speak with a lawyer that specializes in the area of law in which the client is seeking. At this initial consultation, the lawyer will provide advice about the specific legal issue. The lawyer and client then decide whether further legal services will be provided and, if so, what the charge for the service will be.

The referral service is listed in the Yellow Pages and arranges hundreds of referrals each year. In order to belong to the referral service panel, each lawyer must meet certain eligibility requirements and possess liability insurance.
